Holiday time is here!

I am Reminded of my mother's favorite Holiday song "Silver Bells" In the song it tells of a certain magic in the air at Holiday Time. It seems as If everything picks up pace and there is a sense of electricity in the air. This is shaping up to be one of our Busiest seasons Yet!. we return to Capital One In Richmond, We have Parties from Ashburn to Dumfries to Fredericksburg and beyond.

Our Public performances have become a great success. we sold out the November show and the ticket sales for The December show are going along well. Get fresh Labs Is a wonderful host and The Otter House is helping to provide food service before and after. If you would like a place to have a birthday party this is it! My corporate performances have really been keeping me busy as well.

Just an Up date

It has been a while since I have actually posted something substantial here. I have been running Very hard the past feww months here but the hard work is paying off. I now have the once a month show as well as a bunch of new clients. Magic literally has been floating my family through these tough economic times. People are recognizing the value of professional in home entertainment for their childs Birthday party etc. I have also been getting lore corporate shows latley.

a moment of magic

I am often asked to " make this or that disappear." I would like to share a real magic moment with you. some years ago I was lost in my own worries. I was somewhere in East Anglia UK and I was going through a lot in my life at the time. I was walking in the village to go shopping when I passed through an arched gateway into a park. As I walked through the arch it seemed as though the sun chose that exact moment to peak out from the clouds and illuminate the scene on the other side. There a young woman Guitar in hand with flowing golden hair was singing "Killing Me softly" near a park bench. Just as In the song she "sang as if she knew me." I lingered for a moment, dropped a few Quid In the guitar case, and walked on. Just a few moments later I turned to return and say thank you for the moment, she was gone. That Memory has been with me ever since. I Cary it in my back of thoughts that I keep for appropriate moments. I return there when I feel the weight of the world sitting on my shoulders and somehow I know everything will be OK.

where has the summer Gone!

We have been running full speed here! We performed several Fun shows. The first of note was the birthday party for Jackson. he turned 5 and his family celebrated at their family home in Fawn lake, spotsylvania va. Then it was off to be the celebrity host of the annual music by moon light concert in Fredericksburg. The perfect weather and great show led to a max capacity crowd for this annual fundraiser. Ashley and I traveled to Richmond to Cut an executive of captiol one in half in front of 900 of his employees. we got a realy good dvd from it and as soon as I can re-cut it to a more web friendly format I will post it.

Then I traveled to southern maryland and alexandria for shows as well.

magic magic everywhere

The heat of the summer has been ever present the past few days But on the whole this has been a mild summer here. Magic is popping up every where we Turn. I have been to Saint Marys County for a magic party, Falls church for a graduation party and coming up very soon I will be at Sully Station In Manassas for a community show. In September I'm heading to Richmond To present a couple of Illusions for a corporate event.

we worked very hard to get a space to bring you live performances but it just did not work from a business standpoint. while I got a great deal I just could not sustain the Birthday party business in a fixed location with out Advertisers. So we are holding off and Building our capitol.

I have just added a new illusion. I know own a Visible sawing of some one in half. It Uses a Jigsaw and a pretty mean Blade. The Person is selected from the audience and placed on a table. A Guide is placed over the person and The saw is then plugged in and Using the guide is passed through the volunteers body. Wow what an Illusion. The cool thing is that I can perform this in some ones home.
